Finalist of the CODE_n Award at the CeBIT 2012 in Hannover

sychronite along with 49 other entrepreneurs were chosen out of 400 startup competitors from every corner of the globe to introduce themselves and their ideas at the CeBIT 2012 in Hannover. With their unique collaborative web-based service the founders, Dr. Stefan Seedorf and Christian Thum, accomplished to rank among the top 10 solutions at the CODE_n Award. In 2012, CODE_n presented the first CODE_n Award to a highly IT based solution for mobile life.

Innovations Award at the E12-Summit in Karlsruhe

On 30 November 2011 Dr. Stefan Seedorf and Christian Thum received the Innovations Award at E12-Summit. They prevailed in the final round, which was held in the Pecha-Kucha format in front of five jurors, against two other finalists.

Winner of the Startup Award in Mannheim 2012

Dr. Stefan Seedorf and Christian Thum both business IT specialist from the University of Mannheim won the city’s startup award. Hereby they were rewarded for the development of a software application which simplifies the co-operation between internet users. On 21 November 2011 the young founders received a prize of 2012 € as a part of the first Economic Forum “Mannheim – Stadt im Quadrat”.

Winner of the Startup Competition "IKT Innovativ" 2011 of BMWi

synchronite was one of 13 startups awarded at the startup competition “IKT Innovation” at the International Consumer Electronics Fair (IFA) in Berlin. The competition is part of the initiative “Gründerland Deutschland” which was founded by the Ministry of Economics in order to encourage the entreprenteurial spirit in Germany.

Klaus O. Fleck Prize of the IHK Rhein-Neckar

The Klaus O. Fleck prize for excellent research valued 5,000 Euro emphasizes the link between economy and science. In 2011 Dr. Stefan Seedorf was awarded for his dissertation in the area of component-based application systems.

Junge Innovatoren

Supported by the Program "Junge Innovatoren" meaning "Young Innovators"

Since July of 2011 Dr. Stefan Seedorf and Christian Thum have been supported by the program “Junge Innovatoren” on behalf of the Minstry for Science, Research and Arts of the State of Baden-Württemberg. The program “Junge Innovatoren” helps scientific assistants at universities and extramural research institutions to become self-employed concerning the manufacture and sales of innovative products.
